It takes a real man to be a daddy....
I was browsing around tonight (avoiding work as usual) when I came across Sylvie's post about her struggle with not being able to have another kiddo of her own - you can read it here
And it made me start thinking about our own struggle to be parents- we were blessed with a miracle, and while I may complain a lot....it's important to stop and say that out loud once in a while. I was told by more than one person that I would never have a child of my own, and we were in the proccess of adopting when we found out about Jackson. It really didn't matter if he was our own or not, I knew that we both had a lot of love to give. I really couldn't wait to see my hubby as a "Daddy"
So my message for the night I guess is: Those of you with kiddos- whether they are step-kids, adopted, or home grown give them extra hugs and kisses tonight. Every child is a miracle....
