Happy Half-Birthday!

My baby boy is 6 months old today! I can't believe it. It seemed like just yesterday I was washing and folding all those little baby clothes complaining about having to pee every five minutes, and how much my back hurt. I don't even think I remember the first two months of his life anyway- I was so sleep deprived.

And now I am having to pack up all those little baby clothes cause he is too big for them all now....and he is now officially inch worming across the house. He will get up on his hands and knees and then throw himself forward, where he then falls on his stomach. And then he repeats. He gets where he wants to go (albiet not gracefully)....

If I could bottle one baby thing from this period in time- I think it would be his thumb sucking, sleepy snuggles. When you curl up with him on the couch or in the rocker when he is sleepy, he will start sucking his thumb. But he has to hold on to a part of my shirt with his thumb sucking hand...I think it is so cute. I am his security blanket.

Ok I am about to cry now...and the room smells oddly of poopy diaper...so I better go.
